Privacy Policy

Depending on how you use Lately, we may collect:

• Account information such as name, email and login details.
• Membership application information and membership status.
• Reservation details including venue, date, time, party size, status and cancellations.
• Preferences and activity such as saved venues and interactions.
• Communications you send to support.
• Technical and security information needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot Lately.

We do not ask for information that is not reasonably necessary to operate Lately.

• Create and manage accounts and membership applications.
• Provide venue discovery, reservations and cancellations.
• Communicate about accounts, reservations and support.
• Maintain security, prevent misuse and improve reliability.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Where required, marketing is sent only with appropriate consent and you may opt out at any time.

Where GDPR applies, we process data to provide requested services or take pre-contractual steps, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests in operating and protecting Lately where your rights do not override them, or based on consent where required.

Relevant reservation information may be shared with the participating restaurant so it can manage your booking. Trusted infrastructure, hosting, authentication, security and communication providers also process data as necessary. Lately currently uses Supabase for backend infrastructure and authentication.

We may disclose information where legally required or necessary to protect legal rights. We do not sell personal data.

Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where required, safeguards such as adequacy decisions or approved contractual protections are used.

We retain data only as reasonably necessary for these purposes and for legal, security, accounting or dispute requirements. After deletion, associated data is deleted or anonymized unless retention is legally required or permitted. Information may remain temporarily in secure backups until normally overwritten.

You can initiate deletion inside the app or read the account deletion process. Questions may be sent to support@lately.gr. Legally required records may be retained.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and withdraw consent where applicable. You may complain to the competent authority; in Greece this is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

We use appropriate technical and organizational safeguards against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or loss. No system can guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy as Lately develops or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date remain available at lately.gr/privacy.
